We invite you to join us in our efforts to build more affordable housing in Dona Ana County. Below are a few options.
Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity is inviting law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders in the community to come together in an effort to build affordable homes for local families with its community project: “9-1-1 Build”. We welcome the public servants in our community to get involved by volunteering for a day of building, making a group or unit financial contribution, and an opportunity to show your support towards affordable housing during January 15-18th, 2013 from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
Our 2012 “911 Build” was a total success!

Congratulations to our lucky winner Elaine Stover! After receiving all tickets purchased from our fundraiser, our office had a volunteer reach into our handy hard had and pull out the lucky ticket!
Honey-Do Raffle Fundraiser
How many times have you asked, “Honey, will you do . . .,” and waited (and maybe waited some more) for a home-improvement project to be completed?
Get that list done with the help of Habitat!! Each raffle ticket will enter you into a drawing to win a crew of “Habitat Helpers” to help with a home improvement project. Helpers could paint a room, organize a closet or pantry, install a light fixture or small appliance, plant a garden, or help with garage or basement cleaning, but no housework. If you had another project in mind, a team leader could assess its feasibility.
Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20.
Specifics:
• Within city limits
• Winner must be present
• Winner supplies all materials (paint, appliance..). If wrong materials are on-site we will skip & omit that item and go to the next item.
• Liability Waiver will be signed by workers and winner.
• NO major electrical or plumbing work. For example: can fix a leaky faucet, but cannot replace a bathtub.
• Limit of 5 projects
• Please have animals put up
Sell tickets from now until February 1st work will be done in March on an agreed upon day.
